Chase Harmon Takes Top Honors at Winter Classic

Chase Harmon of Billings put on a masterclass performance at the Winter Classic Rodeo last weekend, riding Midnight Thunder for a 91-point score to claim the Bull Riding title. Harmon, competing in his fourth NRA season, credited his preparation and a strong support team for the victory. "That bull has a reputation for being tough, but we'd done our homework," he said after the event. The win puts Harmon at the top of the early season Bull Riding standings with $1,840 in earnings. He'll look to build on that lead at next month's Treasure State Rodeo in Butte.
